Disclaimer
Please read this entire disclaimer before using this website, purchasing any product, program, or membership, or relying on any content published by Overcoming PTSD and Broken to Unbreakable ("Overcoming PTSD," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing this website or making a purchase, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to this disclaimer in full.
Not Medical, Psychological, or Therapeutic Advice
Overcoming PTSD and Broken to Unbreakable provide educational and coaching content only. Our role is not to provide health care, medical, psychiatric, nursing, nutritional, or therapy services, or to diagnose, treat, or cure any disease, condition, or other physical or mental ailment.
Brad Schipke is a mentor and coach trained in PTSD recovery coaching, sharing personal experience and a self-directed educational method to help others devise and implement their own positive, sustainable changes. Brad Schipke is not a doctor, licensed psychologist, licensed therapist, psychiatrist, or other licensed or registered healthcare professional, and nothing in our content, programs, calls, community, or communications is meant to take the place of advice from those professionals, or to create a clinical, medical, or therapeutic relationship.
Always seek the advice of a qualified, licensed healthcare or mental-health provider with any questions regarding a medical or psychological condition, including PTSD, CPTSD, trauma, depression, anxiety, or addiction. Never disregard, avoid, or delay seeking professional advice, and never discontinue treatment, because of something you read, saw, or heard through our content or programs.
Medication
Do not start, stop, change, or adjust any prescribed medication without first consulting your prescribing physician. Any references on this site to individuals reducing or discontinuing medication describe their own personal experiences, undertaken with the guidance and supervision of their own doctors. Decisions about medication are strictly between you and your licensed medical provider.
No Guarantee of Results
The testimonials, stories, examples, statistics, and results shared on this site reflect individual experiences and are not typical, promised, or guaranteed. Recovery from PTSD, CPTSD, or trauma varies significantly from person to person and depends on many factors outside our control, including your individual history, circumstances, effort, consistency, health, support system, and the nature and severity of your experiences.
We make no representation, promise, or guarantee that you will achieve any particular result, that you will "fully recover," heal at any particular speed, reduce symptoms, or experience any specific outcome. Any timeframes, figures, or distress-reduction numbers referenced are illustrative of past participants and are not a forecast of your results. No representation has been made and may be relied upon as to any future outcome you may experience from participating in this program. You accept that your results are your own responsibility and that you assume all risk in applying any information, tools, or strategies we provide.
Testimonials
Testimonials on this site were received via text, email, video submission, social media, or other voluntary means. They represent the genuine experiences of the individuals who gave them, are individual experiences that may not be typical, and are not a guarantee that you or anyone else will achieve the same or similar results. Some testimonials may be lightly edited for length or clarity without changing their meaning, and names may be shortened or changed to protect privacy.
Crisis & Emergencies
Our content and programs are not appropriate for crisis or emergency situations. If you are experiencing a medical or mental-health emergency, are in danger, or are having thoughts of harming yourself or others, do not use this website or wait for any program. Contact emergency services immediately. In the U.S., call or text 988 for the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline, dial 911, or go to your nearest emergency room. Outside the U.S., contact your local emergency number or crisis line.
Personal Responsibility & Assumption of Risk
Trauma-recovery work can bring up difficult emotions and memories. By participating, you acknowledge that you take full responsibility for your own life and wellbeing, as well as the lives and wellbeing of your family and children where applicable, and all decisions made during and after using our content and programs. You expressly assume the risks of the recommendations made here, including the risks of trying new therapeutic techniques and the risks inherent in making lifestyle changes. You agree that you will seek appropriate licensed professional support if and when you need it.
Release of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, you release Brad Schipke and Overcoming PTSD from any and all liability, damages, causes of action, claims, and demands whatsoever, in law or equity, which you ever had, now have, or will have in the future, arising from your past or future participation in, or otherwise with respect to, Overcoming PTSD, Broken to Unbreakable, and their associated trainings, programs, communities, and publications.
Accuracy & Changes
We work to keep our content accurate and current but make no warranty that it is complete, accurate, reliable, or error-free. Content is provided "as is." We may change or update this disclaimer at any time at our discretion. Updates are effective upon posting to this page.

Terms of Service
General
This website (the "Site") is owned and operated by Overcoming PTSD, including OvercomingPTSD.com and the Broken to Unbreakable membership ("Company," "we," or "us"). By using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and to use the Site in accordance with these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and our Disclaimer (each incorporated here by reference), and any additional terms that may apply to specific products or services. Accessing the Site in any manner constitutes use of the Site and your agreement to be bound by these Terms.
We reserve the right to change these Terms or impose new conditions on use of the Site from time to time, in which case we will post the revised Terms on this website. By continuing to use the Site after we post changes, you accept the modified Terms.
Who May Use Our Services
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to purchase or use our memberships, programs, or coaching. By using our services you represent that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is true, accurate, current, and complete.
Nature of Our Services (Important)
Our memberships, programs, calls, community, and content are educational and coaching resources only. They are not therapy, medical or psychiatric care, crisis services, or a substitute for licensed professional treatment, and they do not create a clinical, medical, or therapeutic relationship. Please review our Disclaimer, which governs the educational and non-medical nature of everything we offer.
Membership, Billing & Cancellation
- Membership is offered on a recurring subscription basis.
- By subscribing, you authorize us and our payment processor to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.
- No contracts. Cancel anytime. To cancel, contact us at Brad@overcomingptsd.com or use the cancellation option in your account before your next billing date. Cancellation stops future charges and ends your access at the close of your current paid period; it does not retroactively refund prior charges except as described below.
- If payment is declined, our system may automatically disable access to premium materials (this usually happens when a card expires). We will make every attempt to contact you, and once the billing issue is resolved, we will restore your access.
- Prices, features, and included bonuses may change over time. Promotional bonuses (such as the Box Set or BTU LIVE seats) are available only as described at the time of purchase and may be limited in quantity or time-bound. Cohort dates and schedules may change. Physical Box Set shipping is included for U.S. addresses; international members may be responsible for shipping costs.
Refund Policy
Your purchase of a product, service, membership, or event ticket may or may not provide for a refund. Whether a refund is available depends on the specific offer and is granted at the sole discretion of the owner, based on whether the customer qualifies under the terms of that offer. Any refund, where offered, applies to the qualifying purchase only and not to subsequent renewal charges. To inquire about a refund, contact Brad@overcomingptsd.com.
Our Limited License to You
The Site and all materials available on it, including curriculum, videos, workbooks, processing tools, the trauma-mapping and tracking system, written materials, recordings, and the Broken to Unbreakable and Overcoming PTSD names, logos, and method, are the property of us and/or our affiliates or licensors, and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual-property laws. The Site is provided solely for your personal, non-commercial use.
Unless explicitly authorized in these Terms or by us, you may not modify, copy, reproduce, republish, upload, post, transmit, translate, sell, create derivative works from, exploit, or distribute in any manner or medium any material from the Site. Your purchase is for personal use only. Sharing of purchases or login access is not permitted, will be considered an unauthorized and infringing use of our copyrighted material, and may subject violators to liability and immediate termination without refund.
Your License to Us
By posting or submitting any material (including comments, posts, photos, and videos) to us via the Site, the community, social media, or to any of our staff via email, text, or otherwise, you represent that (i) you own the material or have the owner's express consent, and (ii) you are eighteen years of age or older. You grant us, and anyone authorized by us, a royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, non-exclusive, worldwide license to use, copy, modify, transmit, create derivative works from, distribute, and publicly display such material, in whole or in part, in any medium now known or later developed, for any purpose, including the right to identify you as the author by name or screen name as we deem appropriate. We have the right but not the obligation to use, display, or remove any submission at any time for any reason.
Community Rules
Our community is a supportive space, and we want every member to add value to it. By participating you agree to treat others with respect and not to: restrict or inhibit others' use of the Site; impersonate any person or misrepresent your affiliation; harass, abuse, threaten, defame, or discriminate against others; share others' private information; provide medical, legal, or professional advice you are not licensed to give; promote self-harm or other dangerous behavior; post unlawful, obscene, or infringing content; transmit viruses or harmful code; spam, solicit, or advertise without our written approval; or harvest others' personal information. The community is peer support and coaching, not crisis care. See the crisis notice in our Disclaimer.
We have no obligation to monitor content but have the absolute right to do so, and we may alter, edit, refuse to post, or remove any content, and remove or refuse continued access to any user, at any time and at our sole discretion, to keep the community safe and valuable. We rarely remove members, but we take the safety of our communities seriously.
Passwords & Account Security
To use certain features you will need a username and password. You are responsible for maintaining their confidentiality and for all activities that occur under your account. Notify us immediately at Brad@overcomingptsd.com of any unauthorized use. We are not liable for any loss arising from your failure to protect your account information.
Disclaimers & Warranties
The information, products, and services offered on or through the Site are provided "AS IS" and without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant that the Site or its functions will be uninterrupted or error-free, that defects will be corrected, or that the Site or its servers are free of viruses or other harmful components. We do not warrant the correctness, accuracy, reliability, or results of the use of any materials on the Site.
We exist for educational purposes only. None of our information is intended as investment, tax, accounting, medical, psychological, or legal advice. You are responsible for consulting appropriate licensed professionals before acting on any information we provide.
Limitation of Liability
UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES, INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE, SHALL WE, OUR AFFILIATES, OR OUR REPRESENTATIVES BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES RESULTING FROM THE USE OF, OR INABILITY TO USE, THE SITE, ITS CONTENT, COMMUNITY, PRODUCTS, OR SERVICES, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. Because some states do not allow certain limitations, the above may not fully apply to you, in which case our liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted by law. If you are dissatisfied with the Site or these Terms, your sole and exclusive remedy is to discontinue use.
Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Overcoming PTSD, Brad Schipke, and our affiliates, successors, and representatives from any and all claims, causes of action, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Site, your content, or your breach of any obligation, warranty, representation, or covenant in these Terms.
Termination
We may cancel or terminate your right to use the Site or any part of it at any time without notice, including for violation of these Terms or to protect the safety of our community. The restrictions on downloaded material and the disclaimers and limitations of liability survive termination.
Copyright (DMCA)
If you believe in good faith that material hosted by us infringes your copyright, you or your agent may send us a notice requesting removal, meeting the statutory requirements of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act. Notices and counter-notices may be sent to Brad@overcomingptsd.com.
Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Rhode Island, and any dispute shall be subject to binding arbitration in Rhode Island, United States. If any provision is found unlawful, void, or unenforceable, that provision shall be severable and shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions.

Personal and Non-Personal Information
Non-personal information is information that cannot identify you, such as certain data your web browser sends when you visit. Because it cannot identify you, there are no restrictions on how we use or share it.
Personal information identifies you as an individual, such as your name, mailing address, email address, and phone number. We may collect it when you send us a form, conduct a transaction with us, when we collect information in support of a transaction (such as billing details), or when you choose to send us information, sign up to receive content, purchase a product or service, or participate in an activity.
Because of the nature of our work, you may choose to share information about your trauma, mental health, or personal history. We treat this information with heightened care, do not sell it, and use it only to provide and support our services. Please share only what you are comfortable sharing, and do not post sensitive information in public community spaces that you wish to keep private.
Cookies & Related Technologies
We may use cookies and related technologies, such as web beacons, to collect information on our site. A cookie is a small text file placed on your device that helps us recognize you on return visits and simplifies recording information like billing and shipping details. Web beacons help us count visitors, understand how the site is used, and measure how email messages are opened or acted upon.
Third-party vendors may also use cookies on our site, for example to analyze anonymous, aggregated usage statistics, to help us improve the visitor experience and manage content, and to help measure and improve our email communications. We may also allow third parties to serve advertisements that include their own cookies or web beacons. This Privacy Policy does not cover information collected by third-party ad servers or advertisers; you should review their privacy policies before interacting with their ads. We will not share your personal information with these advertising companies, though they may use information about your visits to provide ads of interest to you.
You can accept or decline cookies through your browser settings. If you decline, you may not be able to fully use some interactive features of the site.
How We Use Personal Information
We may keep and use the personal information we collect to: provide access to the site, products, and services; respond to your requests; bill you for purchases; provide ongoing service and support; contact you with information that may interest you, including our own and others' products and services; ask your opinion; keep records; and research, develop, and improve our programs, products, services, and content. We may combine information collected online with information you provide through other sources. We may also de-identify your information, after which we may treat it as non-personal information. Finally, we may use your personal information to protect our rights or property, to protect someone's health, safety, or welfare, or to comply with law, regulation, court order, or other legal process.
How We Share Personal Information
We will not share the personal information collected from this site with an unrelated third party without your permission, except as described in this Policy. In the ordinary course of business, we may share some personal information with companies we hire to perform services on our behalf (such as payment processors, email/CRM platforms, community and course platforms, shipping, and analytics), and in those cases we do not authorize them to keep, disclose, or use your information except to provide the services we requested.
We will not sell, exchange, or publish your personal information, except in conjunction with a corporate sale, merger, dissolution, or acquisition. Certain third-party service vendors (such as credit card companies and banks) may collect information directly from you to complete your transaction. We may be legally compelled to release your personal information in response to a court order, subpoena, warrant, law, or regulation, and we may cooperate with law enforcement in investigating users who violate our rules or engage in harmful or illegal behavior. We may disclose personal information to third parties where necessary to protect our rights or property, protect someone's health, safety, or welfare, or comply with legal process.
Communications
We may contact you periodically by email, mail, or telephone to provide information about programs, products, services, and content that may interest you. You may opt out of marketing communications at any time via the unsubscribe link or by contacting us. Some site features let you communicate with us through online forms, and our responses may include your personal information. We cannot guarantee that emails to you will be secure from unauthorized interception.
How Personal Information Is Secured
We have implemented generally accepted standards of technology and operational security to protect personally-identifiable information from loss, misuse, alteration, or destruction. Only authorized personnel and third-party vendors have access to your personal information, and they are required to treat it as confidential. Despite these precautions, we cannot guarantee that unauthorized persons will not gain access.
